Henry V Ending

So we finished reading the play. I though that it was a good play. I had never read it before so it turned out be an experience for me.all the characters were very different in this play, and I could relate to some of them. The king was a character that at times was too ruthless. I understood that he was the king but when he had his own friend hanged, that became my breaking point. Also his ability to be able to just meet someone and decide that you want to be married was appalling to me. You cannot just say,"hey you look nice, I want to marry you." I know it's a little more complex, the reason why he wants to get married with her. But either way they just met and she doesn't speak English well. I likes the plays in a lot of ways but specifically the comedy. The complicated insults always amused me. You had to figure what they were saying before you could have a giggle for a couple seconds. But besides its comedy moment, this play had its tragic moments. For example, when Henry denied falstaff and said that he did not know who he was. That action by Henry broke his dear friend's heart, leading to him eventually dying of a heart break. The war scenes were also incredible in this play, I love how Henry's army was able to defeat the French army, a bigger army, with such less casualties then the French. Overall, I though this play was great and the plot was exciting, even though the English was heart to comprehend at times, it was still an enjoyable play.
